Up until now, I have only seen the old, brown coconuts, which my friend Saba tells me are usually fed to the pigs or thrown out in Samoa.These fresh coconuts are imported from Thailand and are pretty good quality, not rotten like most of the old brown ones. I was wrong.Fascinating!  What's more, I much prefer the yellow Kiwi fruit.  It is not as sour as the green one can be at times, and is very sweet.  It also has a different fragrance to the green Kiwi fruit.I think it would be nice to include yellow and green Kiwi friuts together in a friut salad.
